What Does Cancellation or Postponement Cover?
Cancellation or Postponement coverage pays the nonrefundable expenses incurred when the private event must be canceled or postponed for reasons beyond your control. These reasons include, but are not limited to, sickness or injury to the Honoree (the person(s) for whom the Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah is being held), or anyone essential to the private event, as well as damage or inaccessibility to the premises where the Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah are to be held.

If the Cancellation or Postponement coverage is purchased 14 or more days from the date of the event and adverse weather prevents the Honoree, or any relative whose presence at the private event is essential or, the majority of the guests are prevented from reaching the premises where the private event is to take place, the costs of rescheduling the event are covered up to your selected limit. Be aware that dark skies and light rainfall alone won’t qualify as reason enough to cancel your Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah.
